December 10th, Pro-Stitcher Premium: Just the Basics

December 10, 2021 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm CST

$100.00

Quilters, have you been promising yourself all year to take that next step in your journey?  Well, despite our best intentions, life sometimes gets the best of us!  So, here’s one last opportunity to clear away any lingering resolutions from January!

We’ll begin our course by breaking down the features, tools, and user interface.  I’ll show you how to easily update PSP, and where to go for additional support options.  Once we’re comfortable in our working knowledge of the program, we’ll move on to what we came here for—design and execution!

I’ll introduce you to using PS in Simulation Mode to help pare down the time you spend before the machine.   You’ll learn all about edge-to-edge quilting, all the tools for repeating and wrapping, clever tricks for advancing your quilts, such as the drag-and-drop method, and how to avoid the dreaded, yet mythical, “pattern drift”.   I’ll teach you how to gracefully recover from disruptions, such as power outages and thread breakage, and you will master the skills of repositioning and restarting – I promise!

I’ll show you the easy way to download, import, and install purchased designs, too.

As always, you’ll be free each day to ask any questions that you have.  Whether you want to know more about the material we’ve covered in class, or you want to ask about other quilting challenges, I’d love to hear about them and help you reach solutions.

Class size is limited – reserve your spot early!  Applicants to this class should be comfortable using Zoom to communicate, and should ensure the stability of their connection, as well as the fidelity of their voice and video communication prior to the day of the class!  A simple Zoom tutorial can be found here.
