**Class Full**Handi Quilter Virtual Event – Be Sew Creative, December 5-6, 2020

Hey, Stitchers, it’s time to sew creative! Our friends Marsha and Izzy Cowan of Be Sew Creative are kindly inviting us into their quilting community and sponsoring my latest two-day, twelve-hour class! In this seminar, you’ll learn everything you need to know about Pro-Stitcher Designer. By the end of class, you’ll be able to create your very own quilting designs, edit existing designs, and so much more!
We’ll begin our first day by learning to navigate the interface of PSD, as well as familiarizing ourselves with the many resources available for support. Next, we’ll get hands-on by using the drawing and editing tools to create our own gorgeous designs. I’ll teach you how to make high-quality patterns that will stitch just the way you want them to, and then you’ll learn how to save the designs for use in your machine.
I’ll show you how to draw and design from inspirations, and import designs using the auto-digitization feature. We’ll learn the how to use all kinds of different design techniques, (such as Repeat, Reflect, Carousel, Trim, Weld and Intersect), to enhance your beautiful quilts simply.
On our second day, we’ll begin with an in-depth tutorial on design: Modifying existing designs, splitting and connecting designs, and creating continuous patterns while learning to prepare areas and crop artwork. We’ll practice with a variety of motifs, fonts, and tools in this hands-on class that no up-and-coming quilter should miss!

Class size is limited – reserve your spot early! Applicants to this class should be comfortable with using Zoom to communicate, and should ensure the stability of their connection, as well as the fidelity of their voice and video communication prior to the day of the class! This sounds great. I have not touched my PSD. Will the class be using the tablet on the machine or off or a seperate laptop?
This class is full, however, we’re offering it again on January 2-3 if that works for you. Students will be a mouse and keyboard for much of what we do in Pro-Stitcher Designer, Joyce, so I’d recommend that you have the software installed on a separate Windows device.
