Quilters, many of you have been asking for a change of pace! While some students prefer to learn new material from top-to-bottom before applying it, others like more time for reflection. With that in mind, here’s a new twist on an old favorite– Pro-Stitcher Premium Basics and Beyond Biweekly.
If you’re finding inspiration faster than you can quilt it, let me give you a hand. Join me this November 19th and December 3rd for an exclusive class designed to teach you the pro-skills you need to maximize your productivity with Pro-Stitcher Premium.
We’ll begin our course by breaking down the features, tools, and user interface. I’ll show you how to easily update PSP, and where to go for great support options. Once we’re comfortable in our working knowledge of the program, we’ll move on to what we came here for—design and execution!
I’ll teach you all about simulating quilt layouts, for both edge-to-edge and custom quilt treatments, to help pare down the time you spend before the machine. I’ll show you the easy way to download, import, and install purchased designs, too. You’ll learn all the tools for repeating and wrapping, clever tricks for advancing your quilts, such as the drag-and-drop method, how to avoid the dreaded “pattern drift”, and how to gracefully recover from disruptions, such as power outages and thread breakage. You will master the skills of repositioning and restarting – I promise!
We’ll expand our creativity by working with multiple designs simultaneously, we’ll set corners with borders for seamless stitchouts, and I’ll teach you how to create effective areas for all kinds of custom quilting, including irregular spaces and non-traditional quilt tops.
You’ll love knowing how to use the Move, Mark, and Record tools to tackle jobs easily, and I’ll show you exactly how to use the cropping tools to achieve beautiful finishes without overstitching!
We’ll round out the weekend by learning to transition to and from Pro-Stitcher Designer, and as always, you’ll be free each day to ask any questions that you have. Whether you want to know more about the material we’ve covered in class, or you want to ask about other quilting challenges, I’d love to hear about them and help you reach solutions.
