Pro-Stitcher Premium Virtual Event: Basics and Beyond – November 21-22, 2020

November 21, 2020 @ 9:00 am - November 22, 2020 @ 4:30 pm CST

$140.00

Hey, Quilters!  I am so happy to announce a milestone in my own journey!  This November 2122, I’d love for you to join me for the first of many classes that I’ll be hosting and sponsoring independently! This event is designed to teach you everything you need to know to make the most of Handi Quilter’s Pro-Stitcher Premium. Whether you’re just starting out with your Longarm, or already an old pro, this two-day seminar will bring out the potential in your process, helping your Quilting become easier and more elegant than ever!

We’ll explore all Pro-Stitcher’s key features and functions, including the many new features coming in future updates. We’ll learn to update the program and work with a variety of designs, including those we buy or create.

We’ll set multiple edge-to-edge design layouts using wrapping and off-setting for a seamless artistic effect, and understand how to advance quilts using a simple drag-and-drop method with no mis-aligned rows or “pattern drift”!  Repositioning and restarting after interruptions can be challenging.  I’ll show you how to recover simply and quickly from thread breaks, bobbin changes, and power outages. We’ll finish up the first half of our instruction  with an introduction to digitally simulating your Quilt, so that you can design even when away from your machine!

Next, we’ll tackle loading and working with multiple designs simultaneously. I’ll help you to get creative with the workspace, stitching seamless borders with corners, and then we’ll go in-depth with cropping, setting effective areas for custom quilting, working with irregular spaces, and awesome ways to use the Move, Mark,  and Record tools. Next, we’ll transition into an introduction to Pro-Stitcher Designer, its basic features, and how to get the most out of Pro-Stitcher Premium by using the programs in tandem. Finally, we’ll finish up our class with “Ask Me Anything” — be it about the material we’ve covered during the course, or something you’ve been challenged by or, are simply curious about.

These classes will be recorded and posted on my website.  Students will have private access to the recordings to re-run the videos until December 24, 2020.

Since this is a live class with student interaction, I am limiting the class size to 16 participants.  I want all students to receive thorough answers to their questions, so we may run over a little in the evenings.

Class size is limited – reserve your spot early here:  http://susanmanry.com/course/pro-stitcher-premium-basics-and-beyond-3/

Applicants to this class should be comfortable with using Zoom to communicate, and should ensure the stability of their connection, as well as the fidelity of their voice and video communication prior to the day of the class! A simple Zoom tutorial can be found here.

I am very interested in your seminar. I am a intermediate quilter doing e2e but want to learn more and all things past that. However, I do not have designer, so I was wondering how much time is devoted to that and if my time and money would be better spent in a class that does not include that?

Hi, Sharon. Thanks for getting in touch. The two-day event over November 21-22 teaches beginners and up. You’ll learn a lot, I promise. The Pro-Stitcher Designer is only about ten minutes at the end of Day 2 so quilters can see how simple it is to use and decide if they want to own/learn more about it. Just so you know, there are only four spaces left in that class as I write. I can hardly believe how much interest there has been.

Will you be offering this class another time? I can’t take it on those dates

Thank you. I certainly will be, Chris, and I’ll notify you when I’ve added to the schedule. Are weekdays or weekends better for you?
