Quilting Is My Therapy

Good things must come in twos! Our gracious host Angela Walters has invited us back for a second shindig! This January 16th and 17th, I’ll be teaching a two-day, twelve-hour class sponsored by Quilting Is My Therapy designed to teach ambitious stitchers everything they need to know about quilting with Pro-Stitcher Premium. On our first day together, we’ll begin by learning to navigate Pro-Stitcher’s essential functions and lesser-known wonders, how to easily update our program, and get all excited about the upcoming new features! Next, we’ll move on to using simulation, importing and saving Designs, understanding Workspaces and Areas. We’ll create several different edge-to-edge layouts that seamlessly wrap, the easy method for advancing the quilt that include solutions for gaps and pattern drift. We’ll close out the day by learning to overcome interruptions to our quiling process: realigning patterns, changing bobbins, breaking thread, and moving from closing for the night and getting started effortlessly in the morning!On our second day, we’re going to jump feet first into design!  We’ll learn to easily work with multiple designs simultaneously, stitch borders and corners seamlessly, chunk borders, and how to set the ideal areas for custom quilting.
