Quilters!\u00a0 Be the first to join me for my new approach to teaching Pro-Stitcher Designer!\u00a0 In appreciation for my students who learn better in an intimate setting, I\u2019m including this exciting addition to my usual course offerings.<\/span> [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.7.4″ _module_preset=”default” width=”100%” width_tablet=”” width_phone=”95%” width_last_edited=”on|desktop” max_width=”100%” module_alignment=”center”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.7.4″ _module_preset=”default”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.8.2″ _module_preset=”default” text_font_size=”18px” text_line_height=”1.6em” text_font_size_tablet=”” text_font_size_phone=”16px” text_font_size_last_edited=”on|phone”]<\/p>\n We’ll begin with a brief program overview covering navigation, the user interface, and the resources available to digital designers.\u00a0 From there, we\u2019ll move directly into using the draw and edit tools to create stunning artwork from scratch.\u00a0 You\u2019ll learn the skills needed to create quality quilting designs that will stitch exactly as you want them to, and understand exactly how to take your creations from the desktop to the quilting machine.<\/p>\n With the basics under your belts, I\u2019ll take you through the fun and easy-to-use features, like Reflect and Carousel, and how to use them to produce precise symmetry.\u00a0 You\u2019ll import backdrops to design over, Auto-Digitize, and learn to wield the Magic Wand!<\/p>\n We\u2019ll cover a multitude of design techniques in exquisite detail, such as Repeating, Trimming, Welding and Intersecting artwork, and how to use the Echo Quilting and Rays features to add interest to your artwork. We\u2019ll split and connect designs to perfectly suit our specific needs.<\/p>\n I\u2019ll introduce you to designing with True Type fonts, using motifs as fills and outlines, and how to audition designs over a quilt top.<\/p>\n Before class ends, every student will have the opportunity to ask detailed questions about PSD and the content we\u2019ve covered and related subjects, as well as share thoughts and inspirations with their fellow stitchers.<\/p>\n If you\u2019re ready to stretch your wings, I made this course for you!<\/p>\n Class size is limited to ten \u2013 reserve your spot early!\u00a0 Applicants to this class should be comfortable using Zoom<\/a> to communicate, and should ensure the stability of their connection, as well as the fidelity of their voice and video communication prior to the day of the class!
