Join your fellow threadheads for classes that cater to all levels of longarm experience. Whether you’re a pro at Pro-Stitcher, or just beginning your journey, you’ll polish your skills and learn many more in both our educator-demo and hands-on classes. You’ll be able to start quilting on day one!

Day 1: Introduction to Pro-Stitcher

We’ll jump into it by learning the essential features of Pro-Stitcher, the simple digital quilting system designed for Handi Quilter longarms.

Next, we’ll start to build on the skills you’ve just learned by demonstrating more specific quilting applications available in Pro-Stitcher, and other techniques that you’ll be able to regularly use to finish your quilts. Finally, we’ll familiarize you some of the shortcuts exclusive to Pro-Stitcher which will really help you express your expertise!

Day 2: Progressive Quilting with Pro-Stitcher

Now that you’ve mastered the essentials of Pro-Stitcher, you’re ready to broaden your skillset. Here, we’ll discuss in-depth individual aspects of Pro-Stitcher, including continuous border and corner designs, managing unusual borders and blocks, and how to quickly digitize your own designs!

Day 3 & 4: In-Depth Art and Stitch     

Once you’re comfortable with quilting with Pro-Stitcher, we shift focus to developing your own patterns with Art and Stitch, and easily editing existing patterns. Becoming comfortable with this program helps any longarm quilter easily, intuitively, and speedily turn their creativity into reality.

Come to class with a laptop, or the Pro-Stitcher tablet with the keyboard, and a mouse. If you need help to install Pro-Stitcher Simulator or Art and Stitch, it will be made available during the event.
