We’ll begin our journey by learning to navigate PSD’s intuitive interface, with its many features and time-saving shortcuts. Next, we’ll get hands on, using the drawing and editing tools to create our own designs, and save them for use at our machines. We’ll learn to forge designs from inspiration, use the Magic Wand and Auto-Digitization tools to create beautiful motifs, and to modify existing designs with PSD’s array of tools!
You’ll learn about the Carousel, Reflect, Echo, and Rays tools, and more, and you’ll love using Trim, Weld, and Intersect to speed up your production!
As always, I’ll leave plenty of time for your questions. Whether they’re about the class content or something you’re wroking on with your own quilt, I’d love to hear them and help you solve your challenges.
Even if you’re stuck in ice, my virtual classroom is always nice and warm and cozy. You won’t want to miss this awesome remote learning opportunity!
Class size is limited – reserve your spot early! Applicants to this class should be comfortable with using Zoom to communicate, and should ensure the stability of their connection, as well as the fidelity of their voice and video communication prior to the day of the class! A simple Zoom tutorial can be found here.
When might you be doing another PSD online class… I’m in Australia so hoping timings work
Hi, Paula. Thanks for getting in touch. I’m adding new classes to my calendar weekly, and plan to add another Designer class later in February or early March. Stay tuned!
I have a HQ Amara. Will your class help me?
Hi, Kathy. Currently, my course offerings are for Pro-Stitcher Premium and Pro-Stitcher Designer. Pro-Stitcher Premium is the same software that is on your machine’s tablet, but Pro-Stitcher Designer is the companion software that allows you to create your own patterns and to edit existing patterns more ably than can be done in Premium. Either of my classes on these two subjects would help you, but if you’re newer and want more help working in front of your machine, then it’s the Premium class you’ll probably want first. The January 30-31 class still has a couple of spots if you’re interested, but I’ll also be adding new classes very soon.
Hi Susan. I work 12 hr shifts as an RN. I have most weekends off. Newbie to prostitcher. Wondering if you do weekend classes for those working folks?
Hi, Christy. I do teach on the weekends, matter of fact, I’ve had an event every weekend this month except for the next weekend. As you’ve posted your question to the Pro-Stitcher Designer class, I’m not sure which class you’re asking about. I recommend the Pro-Stitcher Premium: Basics and Beyond class for all new users, Christy. I have that class scheduled for January 30-31, and will soon be adding more dates to my February and March calendars for both weekdays and weekends. If it’s Pro-Stitcher Designer class that you’re looking for, the next class is full, but like PSP, I’ll be adding dates to my calendar right away. I’ll look forward to meeting you.
