If you’re like me, you’ll head back to your studio after the holidays with a head full of ideas and a heart full of resolutions! That’s why this January 2nd and 3rd, the wonderful folks at Be Sew Ceative, and I, are proud to offer the first new class of the year– a twelve-hour hands-on seminar to teach you everything you need to know about Pro-Stitcher Designer!
We’ll begin by reviewing PSD’s user interface, and learning the shortcuts we need to navigate the program easily. Next, we’ll explore tools and resources, both creative and educational, available in and outside of the program. Then, it’s time to get creative! We’ll use the Drawing and Editing tools to create our own designs, and learn to save them for different quilting machine formats. I’ll teach you to use everyday objects as inspiration for new designs, and how to modifying existing designs, to suit yourself.
Once we’ve got a handle on the essentials of design, it’s time to learn to work with more complex features! We’ll learn how and when to make use of techniques such as Repeat, Carousel, and Reflect. We’ll learn to Trim, Weld, Intersect, and Echo patterns, as well as how to split and connect designs. We’ll learn to crop artwork, how to design for PSP Areas, audition different designs over the our quilt tops, create awesome text using True Type Fonts, and much more!
Naturally, we’ll conclude our convention with an opportunity for you to ask me any questions you have– whether about the material we’ve covered during the course, or something that’s arisen during your own quilting journey!
Don’t leave the fireworks behind on the 31st– reserve your slot today, and create gorgeous, eye-popping designs all year long!
Class size is limited – reserve your spot early! Applicants to this class should be comfortable with using Zoom to communicate, and should ensure the stability of their connection, as well as the fidelity of their voice and video communication prior to the day of the class!
