Quilters, the summer stars here in Texas are (like the song goes), big and bright.  There’s beauty beyond your horizons -- and there are talents beyond your current limits, so join me for Pro-Stitcher Premium: Basics and Beyond! We’ll begin our course by breaking down the features, tools, and user interface.  I’ll show you how to easily update PSP, and where to go for additional support options.  Once we’re comfortable in our working knowledge of the program, we’ll move on to what we came here for—design and execution!I’ll teach you all about simulating quilt layouts, for both edge-to-edge and custom quilt treatments, to help pare down the time you spend before the machine.  I’ll show you the easy way to download, import, and install purchased designs, too.   You’ll learn all the tools for repeating and wrapping, clever tricks for advancing your quilts, such as the drag-and-drop method, how to avoid the dreaded yet mythical “pattern drift”, and how to gracefully recover from disruptions, such as power outages and thread breakage.  You will master the skills of repositioning and restarting – I promise! Quilters, normally we photograph our quilts once they’re finished, but we do things a little differently in my studio...and for good reason! How often do you excitedly load a quilt only to stand before the machine sifting through digital designs looking for inspiration?  What about stitching one pattern here and another there, to discover that those designs don’t work well together?  I can help you solve those problems, and more!When I say “Picture perfect quilts every time!”, I mean it!  This July 14th, join me for a fun and productive approach to creating quilt layouts using Pro-Stitcher Designer!  In this half-day course, I’ll teach you all the skills necessary to audition quilting designs over photographs of your quilt-tops, giving you greater confidence than ever when it’s time to stitch!
